This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft Position Responsibilities: • Work with Product Security, Software and IT engineers to execute the Infrastructure and Tools team scope of work • Interface effectively with multiple technical disciplines in a team environment • Works with the Infrastructure Manager to help transform the existing Test IT Infrastructure and Tools • Designs networks and complex IT Infrastructure, including redundancy and disaster recovery systems • Contributes to important initiatives to upgrade existing infrastructure and leads adoption of latest technologies which include virtualization and automation • Assists in implementing best practices to manage a network server room • Lead the team to develop engineering documentation and processes to reduce waste and maximize repeatability • Setup of infrastructure tools and environments such as Servers, Virtual Machine, Storage, Network/Firewall. • Champions Lab Excellence initiatives to continuously improve server room environment • Works in a hands-on lab environment with a variety of different types of test equipment Required Skills: • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience managing large server and IT systems, both bare metal and virtual machines • Strong communication and coordination abilities Preferred Skills: • Holds a Security+ Certification • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience in Mix Unix/Linux and Windows, VMWare, NAS/SAN Storage environment • 5 or more years leading technical teams • An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance and current Tier 5 (T5). Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification.
