The IT Help Desk Support Specialist II serves as a primary point of contact for technology support across the organization. This role provides technical assistance to end users by resolving issues submitted through our ticketing system and supporting employees via phone, remote support, and other communication channels.The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and previous experience supporting users in a fast-paced business environment.Key Responsibilities
Respond to and resolve IT support tickets submitted through the help desk platformProvide technical support over the phone and through remote assistance toolsTroubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issuesEscalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams when necessaryDocument troubleshooting steps and resolutions within the ticketing systemSupport user account administration and access managementAssist with workstation deployments, upgrades, and technology rolloutsMaintain a high level of customer service and professionalismFollow established service level agreements (SLAs) and support proceduresParticipate in ongoing IT projects and process improvements
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of professional IT support or Help Desk experienceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and common business applicationsExperience working with ticket management systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service mindset and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Previous IT experience supporting an automotive dealership group or automotive retail organizationExperience with Tekion dealership management systemsFamiliarity with dealership technology platforms and workflows (CDK, R&R - Reynolds & Reynolds, Cox Automotive,).Experience supporting enterprise applications and remote usersTechnical certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, etc.) are a plus
