This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues, supporting mobile and desktop devices, and ensuring reliable technology operations for field and facility staff.This position performs a balanced mix of ticket resolution, preventative maintenance, and project participation, including equipment refreshes, infrastructure upgrades, and facility expansions. Work is performed onsite at Cantex locations, requiring daily travel between facilities. This is not a remote position.The role includes two weeks of onboarding in Dallas at HQ before transitioning to independent field work.QualificationsMinimum 1 year of IT field support, desktop support, or help desk experienceAbility to travel daily between facilities (100% travel role)Hands‑on experience with Windows 11, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365Experience supporting mobile devices, Android tablets, laptops, desktops, and printersProficiency with remote support tools and ticketing systems (ManageEngine preferred)Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environmentsAbility to work independently while representing the IT department professionally onsiteAbility to participate in an after‑hours/on‑call rotation for outages or urgent issuesStrong communication skills with the ability to provide clear written and verbal instructionsAbility to comply with all Cantex health and safety protocolsEssential FunctionsTravel to assigned Cantex offices and facilities to resolve issues that cannot be addressed remotelyProvide technical support for smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and peripheral devicesDiagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issuesSupport Windows‑based systems, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365Perform workstation setup, configuration, deployment, and application installationRespond to user inquiries and identify root causes through targeted questioningTrack issues through full resolution in the ticketing system (ManageEngine)Document all service activities accurately and completelyEscalate issues appropriately when additional expertise is requiredProvide timely, professional communication to users regarding status and resolutionComplete scheduled preventative maintenance tasksCreate and maintain knowledge base articlesAssist with IT projects such as equipment refreshes, infrastructure upgrades, and facility expansionsAttend Elysian and TheraCare regional meetings to assess needs and provide follow‑up plansMaintain positive, professional relationships with facility staff and corporate personnelAdhere to all Cantex policies, procedures, and safety standardsParticipate in after‑hours/on‑call rotation as requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to travel between facilities using personal or company‑provided transportationAbility to lift or move equipment up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, sit, reach, handle, or feel objects as neededAbility to use computers, phones, and mobile devices for extended periodsOccasional exposure to typical facility environmental factors (noise, cleaning chemicals, airborne particles)Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functionsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
