Position Introduction:

The IT Enterprise Applications Director provides strategic and operational leadership for the University''s enterprise application portfolio, including ERP systems that support Human Resources, Financial, and Student functions. This role is responsible for the planning, implementation, and lifecycle management of mission-critical enterprise systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with institutional priorities. The Director oversees a complex environment that includes ERP platforms and supporting technologies that enable core university operations. The Director partners with IT and business stakeholders to modernize enterprise applications, improve system capabilities, and reduce operational complexity, ensuring systems effectively support evolving institutional needs. In addition, the Director leads application support and development teams, establishes standards and best practices, and ensures enterprise systems are secure, well-supported, and positioned for long-term sustainability.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor''s degree.
  • 6 years of experience in enterprise application design, development, or a related field.

Equivalency/Substitution: Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree. A one-to-one ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.
