WSB TV Atlanta is looking for an IT Engineer!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBroadcast OperationsSupport the setup, operation, and maintenance of television broadcast and production equipmentAssist with live broadcasts and recorded productions to ensure reliable on-air performanceMonitor equipment and systems to identify and resolve technical issuesPerform routine maintenance and assist with equipment upgradesHelp document technical processes and workflowsIT SupportProvide basic IT support for computers, servers, and software used by staffAssist with network connectivity and IP-based systems used in production and broadcasting.Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide user support as neededHelp maintain data storage, backups, and system security practicesDesign, configure and maintain Avid Edit/Server SystemWork closely with production, engineering, and IT teams to support daily operationsCommunicate technical issues clearly to non-technical staffCoordinate with vendors and service providers when necessaryParticipate in on‑call or after‑hours support as required for broadcastsMinimum QualificationsAn associates degree or training in Broadcast Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 5 years' experience working with television production or broadcast environmentsBasic knowledge of computer systems, networking, and troubleshootingStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to lift and move broadcast or IT equipmentWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as neededComfortable working in studio, control room, and office environmentsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with IP‑based broadcast or production systemsRelevant technical certifications (broadcast or IT‑related)Experience supporting live events or time‑sensitive operationsCMG is an equal opportunity employer.
