The position also assists with Epicor-related reporting and data needs, including the creation and maintenance of BAQs and other system queries.

  • Coordinate support tickets, service requests, user issues, equipment needs, and follow-up items with the IT provider.
  • Communicate internal priorities and help ensure open IT matters are tracked through resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved or urgent issues to management as needed.
  • Coordinate with phone, PBX, internet, and mobile service providers regarding service issues, billing questions, equipment needs, user changes, and support requests.

  • Maintain basic records of assigned equipment, users, and device status.
  • Coordinate replacement, return, repair, or disposal of equipment as needed.

Fixed Asset Tracking
  • Maintain the Company’s fixed asset tracking records, including computers, technology equipment, and other fixed assets assigned by management.
  • Record new asset purchases, including asset description, serial number or identifying information, location, assigned user or department, purchase date, and other relevant details.
  • Track asset assignments, transfers, returns, replacements, and disposals.
  • Coordinate with Accounting to ensure fixed asset records support capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers, and periodic reporting requirements.
  • Assist with periodic fixed asset reviews or physical verification procedures.
  • Notify Accounting and management of asset changes, missing equipment, damaged assets, or items that may need to be retired or disposed of.

System Access Coordination
  • Assist with user access setup, changes, and removals for company platforms, subject to management approval and applicable security procedures.
  • Ensure access requests are properly documented and routed to the appropriate approver or vendor.
  • Support periodic user access reviews by gathering information, following up with managers, and coordinating changes.
  • Escalate concerns regarding inappropriate or outdated access.

Epicor and Business Systems Support
  • Create, update, and maintain Epicor BAQs and related reports as needed.
  • Assist departments with data requests, reporting needs, and system-related questions.
  • Work with internal users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into practical Epicor queries or exports.
  • Support process improvement efforts by helping identify system data, reporting gaps, and opportunities for better visibility.
  • Coordinate with Epicor support, consultants, or internal stakeholders when issues or enhancements require additional technical assistance.

Documentation and General Support
  • Maintain documentation for recurring technology processes, vendor contacts, system access procedures, equipment assignments, fixed asset tracking, and common support steps.
  • Help organize technology-related records in the Company’s designated storage locations.
  • Support management in reviewing technology expenses, subscriptions, vendor services, and recurring charges.
