JOB TITLE: Technical Business Analyst – Commercial Lending Controls & Transformation

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to support a Commercial Lending Transformation initiative. This role will focus on documenting and analyzing current processes and controls, assessing transformation impacts, and ensuring control validation across business and risk stakeholders prior to release. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across business process owners, technical teams, and Second Line of Defense partners (including SOX and compliance functions) to ensure complete control traceability and readiness for go-live.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research, document, and maintain current-state business processes and controls
  • Analyze controls tied to Commercial Lending processes and assess impacts from the Commercial Lending Transformation program
  • Partner with business process owners to ensure understanding of control and workflow impacts
  • Facilitate validation of controls prior to each project release
  • Coordinate with Second Line of Defense stakeholders (including SOX and compliance teams) for control sign-off
  • Develop and maintain a controls traceability matrix to ensure all controls are validated prior to go-live
  • Facilitate meetings and coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities
  • Provide ongoing support for process mapping and documentation efforts
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Technically literate with understanding of systems, data flows, and integrations
  • Experience with process mapping and/or internal controls (preferred)
  • Experience with Loan Origination Systems such as nCino (preferred)
  • Ability to work onsite
