Location: Hybrid in Indianapolis - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, data science, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one statistical programming language (Python/R)
  • Familiarity with healthcare, pharmacy, or claims/dispensing operational data
  • 1 3 years of work experience in a HIPAA covered entity
  • Ability to complete and maintain all required data privacy, HIPAA, and covered-entity compliance training, and to handle protected health information (PHI) per established policies

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
  • High learning agility and adaptability in ambiguous environments
  • Working understanding of HIPAA/PHI handling and data-governance constraints, including manufacturer vs. covered-entity data separation

This role plays a critical role in executing the operational and analytical foundation of LillyDirect, with a specific focus on pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment operations. This position partners closely with the existing Performance Operations analysts to expand capacity on operational metric development, automation, and quality validation across dispensing data sources. The role is positioned within the covered entity to enable patient-level operational analysis under appropriate governance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and demonstrates strong analytical, communication, and execution skills while maintaining rigorous compliance with data-handling/sharing requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute and Maintain Dispensing & Operational Data
    1. Support recreation, validation, and maintenance of operational metrics from platform usage and pharmacy fulfillment data to improve automation, accuracy, and quality
    2. Ensure data availability, quality, and compliance across dispensing data workstreams
  2. Monitor and Report Performance Metrics
    1. Create and Deploy operational dashboards for consumption within the Covered Entity
    2. Track and report performance metrics to inform stakeholders; ensure timely, accurate updates to reporting tools
    3. Contribute to consolidated, cross-source dispensing/reporting views supporting filtering, grouping, and finance reporting needs
  1. Deliver Actionable Insights and Operational Support
    1. Conduct analyses using SQL and Excel to measure operational performance and surface trends or opportunities
    2. Translate data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders
    3. Support issue resolution through data-driven problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration, including urgent operational challenges
    4. Contribute to KPI and data-strategy documentation
  2. Data Governance & Compliance
    1. Handle PHI and other sensitive data strictly per HIPAA, covered-entity policies, and established data-governance guidance
    2. Respect manufacturer vs. covered-entity data-separation requirements, particularly around partner-level and patient-level data
