PathPoint is a non-profit dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and young adults in living the life they choose. Through strengthening workplace abilities, developing essential life skills, and fostering meaningful relationships, we serve communities in Kern, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties.
We are seeking 3 proactive IT Assistants to join our Information Technology team. The IT Assistant will provide Level-1 technical support, assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our multi-network, multi-user environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of PathPoint's technology infrastructure.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, 40 hours per week. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays.
Starting Pay:the pay range for this position is $25.00-$28.50 (subject to change based on a variety of factors).
The Impact You'll Make:
- Troubleshoot end-user issues related to computer hardware, software, cell phones, printers, and other technologies.
- Manage help desk tickets, resolving assigned tickets within established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Provide network technical support; respond to user needs and questions concerning network access.
- Assist in providing basic computer training for users.
- Assist with the setup and installation of information systems at facilities.
- Assemble and configure computers, network components, and associated services.
- Assist with upgrading network hardware and software; stay updated on new technologies and recommend upgrades.
- Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve common issues.
- Establish and maintain network users and security groups in Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Support networked devices including computers, printers, and telecommunication equipment.
- Assist in monitoring and controlling IT system security; maintain high levels of network security and data integrity.
- Collaborate with the Director and VP of Technology and Infrastructure to implement strategic goals.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule to ensure minimal network downtime and support after-hours issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a technical support role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Must have a valid California driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, 5 years of driving experience, and be eligible for coverage on PathPoint's auto insurance policy.
