Job Description:

IT & Asset Operations Specialist
Location: Bohemia, NY

Our IT team plays a critical role in supporting clinical and administrative staff across multiple locations, ensuring seamless technology operations that directly impact patient outcomes.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Handle day-to-day IT asset operations to support expanding business demands

  • Maintain accurate inventory tracking and asset records within ServiceNow

  • Perform equipment configuration, staging, and preparation for user deployments

  • Handle day-to-day asset lifecycle activities, from procurement intake to end-of-life retirement

  • Support process improvements to strengthen overall asset control and tracking

  • Serve as a point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via phone or Self-Service tickets, delivering level 1 and level 2 support

  • Provide Field Engineering support by providing hands-on and remote troubleshooting for desktops, applications, Active Directory, password resets, and email configurations

  • Diagnose and resolve system or desktop performance issues, including network connectivity

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot network printers, scanners, and core software across sites

  • Assist with basic network administration tasks, such as running and terminating cabling lines

  • Deliver executive "white glove" technical support to C-Suite and VIP users

  • Follow up with vendors when first level troubleshooting fails, escalating unresolved issues to higher-level technical teams

  • Document all technical issues, updates, asset changes, and resolutions thoroughly in ServiceNow

We Require:

  • 3+ years of experience within an IT Service Desk, Field Engineering, or Asset Support role

  • Hands-on experience with IT Service Management platforms, specifically ServiceNow

  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 technical issues

  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 Enterprise or above), installation, and troubleshooting

  • Working knowledge of email configuration, remote support tools, office productivity suites, and databases (G-Suite experience is a plus)

  • Experience installing and troubleshooting network printers, scanners, mobile devices, and system components

  • Excellent communication, time management, customer service, and multi-tasking skills in a fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or related technical certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Working Conditions:

  • Onsite role based in Bohemia, NY

  • Local travel required between multiple NYCBS locations (valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required)

  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50lbs

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:30am-4:00pm)

  • Participation in on-call rotation, including weekends and after-hours support as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Starting at $34.00/hour
