Job Summary:

The IT Asset Coordinator is responsible for tracking and managing the inventory of IT assets, ensuring proper documentation, and coordinating the deployment and return of equipment. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for entering IT Assets into Mobile Device Management (MDM) software for pre-deployment process and management of assets in IT asset management systems
  • Track and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle – including inventory, deployment, and return using an inventory management system (i.e., Oomnitza) and Mobile Device Management platforms (i.e., Intune)
  • Maintain accurate records of Windows and MacOS hardware assets, including warranties
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely deployment and return of IT equipment
  • Develop and implement procedures for tracking and managing IT assets
  • Ensure compliance with vendor contracts and company policies
  • Generate reports on asset status, usage, and compliance using platforms like Oomnitza and Intune
  • Assist in the disposal of obsolete or damaged IT assets
  • Establish and enforce standard processes and procedures in collaboration with the IT Help Desk, management, and other departments
  • Monitor high-priority after-hours tickets and follow up as required
  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of asset management software and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, solid decision-making, and effective time management, with the ability to think quickly and respond effectively during emergencies
  • Demonstrate flexibility, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment
  • Willing to participate in company-supported training, as needed
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors

Education, Certification & Experience Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or 1-2 years of applicable work experience
