Want to be part of this? We currently have an exciting opportunity for IT Asset Analyst II to join our Tailored Technology team.

This individual will maintain day-to-day execution of IT asset management operations while also serving as a strategic contributor to the continuous improvement and modernization of asset management capabilities, including the application of AI and advanced analytics.

What you'll do

Operational Execution •Maintain accurate hardware, software, contract, and purchase records throughout the full asset lifecycle. •Manage asset procurement processing, stockroom inventory, reclamation, disposal, and retirement activities. •Ensure software license compliance and availability aligned to operational demand. •Execute audits and reconciliations across asset systems, discovery tools, and stockrooms.

Asset Optimization & Cost Management •Analyze asset utilization data to identify cost optimization, reclamation, and rationalization opportunities. •Support renewal planning, demand forecasting, and budget inputs using historical and projected asset data. •Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Technology leaders to influence purchasing and renewal decisions.

Governance, Reporting & Data Quality •Enforce and continuously improve ITAM governance controls and lifecycle standards. •Create dashboards and reports covering utilization, compliance, lifecycle health, and forecasted cost exposure. •Maintain audit-ready documentation for hardware disposal, data destruction, and license compliance.

Strategic Enablement & AI-Driven Asset Management •Evaluate and recommend opportunities to mature IT asset management using AI, automation, and advanced analytics. •Identify AI use cases such as license optimization, lifecycle forecasting, anomaly detection, and data reconciliation. •Contribute to business cases supporting AI or automation initiatives and collaborate on feasibility validation.

Continuous Improvement •Proactively assess ITAM processes, workflows, and tooling to recommend improvements. •Identify opportunities for automation and system integration to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

What you'll bring •5+ years of experience supporting IT Asset Management (Hardware and Software) •Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency. •Experience with software license management and licensing models. •Familiarity with ITIL and ITAM best practices. •Experience with Ivanti ITAM and device discovery platforms preferred. •Demonstrated curiosity and strategic thinking around AI, automation, and analytics Ivanti ITAM experience preferred •Experience using device management and discovery platforms (MECM, JAMF, Intune, etc.) for asset data reconciliation
