Position Type : \n \nFull time\n \nType Of Hire : \n \nExperienced (relevant combo of work and education)\n \nJob Description\n \nFIS Management Services, LLC seeks IT Architect Seniors \u2013 Capital Markets in Jacksonville, FL to define, maintain, and extend functional product architecture for FIS' suite of Financial Services Applications. Define and maintain architectural principles and standards for FIS application development based on business requirements. Work conducts selection, operation, and administration of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems and system software. Document and publish architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns, and frameworks. Define, construct, support, and provide training for enterprise frameworks. Define and maintain a library of functional component models. Document functional product solutions for key FIS product strategies and product management initiatives. Leverage defined functional component model libraries and architecture roadmaps. Review functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and missing requirements. Leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software, and infrastructure asset re-use opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption. Communicate system architecture to technical and business groups.\n \nREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: defining, maintaining, and extending functional product architecture for Financial Services\n \nApplications; defining and maintaining architectural principles and standards for application development based on business' requirements; implementing work conduct selection, operation, and administration of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems and system software; documenting and publishing architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns, and enterprise frameworks; establishing, maintaining, and executing plans to ensure critical business functions continue during and after disruptive events; developing and maintaining technical recovery plans to restore IT systems and data swiftly and securely after a disruption; and utilizing ITIL framework, J2EE, Security (Cloud & On-Prem), Linux, Windows, Networking (On-Prem) , Databases, Webservers, Cloud (Azure and AWS), and SRE DevSecOps tools including Jenkins, Ansible, Bitbucket, Kubernetes, Git, Python, Bash, cron, KORN, BAT, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Harness Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.\n \nQUALIFIED APPLICANTS: Please apply directly through our website by clicking on "Apply Now."\n \nPrivacy Statement\n \nFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
