IT Applications Developer I (Limited-Term)

Please note that this position will be filled as limited-term.
A limited-term position is funded for a specific duration-this assignment is estimated to last approximately three (3) years. While limited in funding, incumbents appointed to limited-term roles receive the same benefits as regular employees and are considered County employees for purposes of internal transfers and promotional opportunities. All limited-term positions are subject to the same probationary period as regular-status positions within the same classification.

OCERS is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Applications Developer I (Limited-Term) to join the Information Technology Programming and Development team in support of the implementation of OCERS new Pension Administration System (PAS).
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career technology professional to gain hands-on experience in application development, business process automation, data analytics, and AI-powered solutions while contributing to critical modernization initiatives. The selected candidate will work alongside experienced developers and business professionals, gaining exposure to enterprise software development best practices while receiving mentorship and guidance. Responsibilities will include developing business applications, automated workflows, reports, dashboards, and collaboration tools using Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, and Power Automate. This position will play a key role in improving business processes, automating repetitive tasks, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the successful implementation of OCERS' new Pension Administration System.

OCERS Human Resources Department will screen all application materials to identify qualified candidates.
