At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our Information Systems team plays a critical role in supporting the technology that powers patient care and hospital operations. We're seeking a skilled Application Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance clinical and business applications across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Support and maintain healthcare information systems and clinical applications
  • Research, analyze, and recommend software and system solutions to meet business needs
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and system functionality
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization efforts
  • Manage and prioritize support requests through the IT help desk ticketing system
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve workflows
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials
  • Monitor system performance, logs, and scheduled processes
  • Assist with interface integrations and application support initiatives
  • Support education and training efforts related to new systems and upgrades

What You Bring

  • 2-4 years of experience supporting healthcare information systems in a hospital environment
  • Experience supporting MEDITECH or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems preferred
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, HL7, FHIR, or interface integrations preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
