At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our Information Systems team plays a critical role in supporting the technology that powers patient care and hospital operations. We're seeking a skilled Application Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance clinical and business applications across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Support and maintain healthcare information systems and clinical applications
- Research, analyze, and recommend software and system solutions to meet business needs
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and system functionality
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization efforts
- Manage and prioritize support requests through the IT help desk ticketing system
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve workflows
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials
- Monitor system performance, logs, and scheduled processes
- Assist with interface integrations and application support initiatives
- Support education and training efforts related to new systems and upgrades
What You Bring
- 2-4 years of experience supporting healthcare information systems in a hospital environment
- Experience supporting MEDITECH or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems preferred
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of SQL, HL7, FHIR, or interface integrations preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
