    Description

    We are looking for someone who truly enjoys irrigation management and the green industry.     As an Irrigation Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems that support healthy, attractive landscapes. This role is critical to ensuring efficient water use, proper system performance, and consistent landscape quality across client properties. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, enjoys hands-on outdoor work, and takes pride in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

    Responsibilities:

    Inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems including valves, heads, piping, wiring, and controllersDiagnose and troubleshoot system issues such as leaks, low pressure, electrical faults, or coverage problemsAdjust and program irrigation controllers to ensure proper watering schedules and water efficiencyPerform seasonal start-ups, system audits, and winterization as requiredReplace or repair damaged components and make system improvements as neededEnsure irrigation systems comply with local water regulations and conservation practicesCommunicate findings, repairs, and recommendations to supervisors or clients clearlyMaintain accurate service records and reportsAssist with irrigation installations or upgrades when requiredFollow all safety procedures, company policies, and environmental guidelinesPerforming preventative and diagnostic system checks on an ongoing basisReporting system check findings to the operations leadership teamUnderstanding client needs while meeting or exceeding expectationsTroubleshooting and resolving irrigation issues in a timely and efficient mannerSafely operating and maintaining irrigation equipment and all other company propertyCommunicating escalations to the Account Manager and/or Irrigation ManagerMaintaining a positive and collaborative attitude with internal and external clients

    Requirements:

    Preferred Skills & Experience:

    Experience with commercial or large-scale irrigation systemsIrrigation certifications (e.g., Irrigation Technician, Certified Irrigation Technician, or equivalent)Familiarity with major irrigation brands and controllers (Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, etc.)Experience with smart irrigation systems and water management technologyKnowledge of local water use regulations and conservation standardsBilingual (English/Spanish) communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage daily service routesStrong customer service and communication skillsInterest in career advancement within irrigation management or landscape operations2 Wire troubleshooting is highly desirableValid Florida Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR check
