Super Landscape & Maintenance is seeking a skilled and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and residential irrigation systems.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in irrigation systems, and committed to delivering high-quality service while representing our company professionally on client sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues (leaks, broken heads, valves, wiring, controllers)
• Install and modify irrigation systems, including mainline, lateral lines, valves, and controllers
• Program and adjust irrigation timers based on seasonal and site conditions
• Perform system audits to ensure water efficiency and proper coverage
• Locate and repair underground pipe breaks
• Maintain pumps and backflow assemblies (if certified)
• Communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and water regulations
• Maintain clean and organized service vehicle and equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2 years of irrigation experience preferred
• Knowledge of 2-wire systems, traditional wiring systems, and smart controllers
• Ability to read irrigation plans and as-built drawings
• Experience with commercial properties preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in South Florida conditions
• Backflow or irrigation license (preferred but not required)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
