Village Green Landscapes is looking for a full time Irrigation Service Technician. this position can work out of our St. Paul, Brooklyn Park or Savage locations. Full-time year- round employment includes commercial snow removal in the winter months. POSITION SUMMARY
Our Irrigation Service Technician provides irrigation maintenance and repair to our customers irrigation systems. They serve as a key team member to ensure our customer properties are beautiful, safe, and well maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Ability to perform all irrigation maintenance and repair tasks including:
- identifying water source, back flow, and meters for client irrigation
- locate isolation valves
- wire in and use irrigation remotes
- replace and adjust irrigation heads
- repair poly and PVC pipes
- replace valves
- programming irrigation controlled
- Ensure customer irrigation systems are maintained to allow maximum efficiency and conserve water
- Works autonomously demonstrating strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Required - High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience with irrigation system maintenance
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one
- Must be able to pass a pre- employment drug test.
Preferred - Low voltage certification
Compensation details: 25-37 Hourly Wage
