Winterberry Irrigation – Full Time
Winterberry Irrigation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Irrigation Design & Estimating Coordinator to support projects from initial bid through final close-out.
This role is an essential part of our irrigation department, combining estimating, plan analysis, and project coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of deadlines, and brings both technical accuracy and strong organizational skills to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review irrigation and landscape plans to understand scope of work
- Perform detailed quantity irrigation take-offs
- Develop accurate cost estimates including (materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors)
- Request, track, and evaluate vendor pricing
- Prepare and submit professional proposals and bid documents
- Maintain bid calendar and track/addendums and follow-ups
- Organize project documentation for awarded and pending
- Support Project Managers and site supervisors with material ordering, change orders, and close-out documentation
- Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet high volume and critical deadline periods
Qualifications
- Experience with irrigation systems or irrigation estimating preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction/irrigation plans
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software
- Familiarity with GPS/GIS mapping software preferred
- Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and digital take-off skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment
