Ironworker Foreman
We're looking for a hands-on Ironworker Foreman to lead crews in structural steel installation. If you take pride in safety, quality, and getting the job done right, this is your opportunity to step up and run work. Travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead crews installing structural steel on active jobsites
- Read plans, perform layout, and keep work on track
- Coordinate with the Project Manager on manpower and materials
- Oversee rigging, steel setting, and equipment operations
- Drive safety, productivity, and quality every day
Qualifications:
Required
- Journeyman Ironworker or equivalent hands-on experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in steel erection or related construction
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong layout skills
- Experience leading crews and managing field operations
- Working knowledge of rigging practices and crane operations
- Valid driver's license (DOT preferred)
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours
Preferred
- Certified welder or ability to pass a stick welding test
- Experience operating heavy equipment (boom lift, telehandler, skid steer)
- Advanced layout experience
- Experience working long shifts, including early mornings and late days
