This is responsible secretarial and office support work of moderate difficulty requiring the skilled handling of a multi-line telephone system, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and the proficient operation of a computer and various software, database, and internet applications. Work includes the preparation of business correspondence and reports; and/or other assigned office maintenance of moderately complex fiscal, operating, personnel, payroll, and records; the scheduling and coordination of committee meetings and the maintenance of minutes and administrative files; professional and efficient reception and disposition of office calls, from internal and external customers, and incoming mail; and must exercise professional discretion and tact when handling sensitive or confidential information or records. An individual selected for this position will serve as an Emergency Critical member of the Parks & Recreation Department's Disaster Operations administrative support team.
Salary: $18.55 - $27.74 Hourly
