Job Description:
Candidate Responsibilities
- Spend up to 50% of time on competitive and market research to identify and evaluate new managed services opportunities.
- Produce a written artifact summarizing:
- Market opportunity
- Credible market share
- Business case
- Go-to-market path within 12 months
- Act as product owner/developer to execute the blueprint.
Candidate Evaluation
All serious candidates will be asked to submit a previously created (or newly developed) business plan artifact. This should demonstrate:
- High-quality business planning
- Translation of ideas into initiatives
- Resulting business impact
Ideal Candidate Profile
- More MBA-centric than Agile/Scrum-focused
- Expected to lead development and manage cross-functional teams to deliver business results
Strongly Desired Background
- Direct experience in hospitality, education, arenas, or churches---or in a service provider role supporting these verticals
- MBA or equivalent experience in business modeling, ROI analysis, and strategic planning
- Proven track record of taking projects from ideation to market with $1M+ annual revenue impact
Job Description
- Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
- Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
- Develops project plan and drives project milestones. Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
- Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
- Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.
- Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills. specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word.
- Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise in the specified area.
- 5-7+ years of experience
Valuable to have experience/familiarity with:
- Smart spaces
- IOT sensors / IOT management
- Asset tracking
- Location services / indoor navigation / AI Maps
- Occupancy analytics
- Environmental monitoring
