Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Investment Research Scouts to identify, surface, and introduce qualified investment opportunities and market intelligence to our investor and fund manager network.

This is not an employment role. Investment Research Scouts operate as independent contractors and are activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Investment Research Scouts:

• Identify and surface investable opportunities at an early stage

• Conduct high-level investment research and opportunity screening

• Introduce qualified opportunities to investors and sponsors within the ecosystem

• Support deal origination through insight, context, and relationship facilitation

• Earn transaction-based compensation when opportunities convert into closed deals

• Build a verified Research & Deal Track Record within Initio Sphere

This role is ideal for professionals who consistently encounter investment opportunities early—before formal marketing or broad outreach.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Investment Research Scouts may:

Opportunity Identification & Research

• Identify proprietary or semi-proprietary investment opportunities

• Surface emerging transactions, capital needs, or strategic situations

• Conduct high-level research on assets, businesses, markets, and owners

• Assess basic investment fit and sponsor credibility

Deal Introduction & Signal Generation

• Introduce opportunities to Initio Sphere’s investor and sponsor network

• Provide concise deal context (asset type, structure, size, thesis, timing)

• Coordinate initial introductions between principals and capital partners

• Support early-stage diligence handoff (analysts handle modeling and underwriting)

Investment Research Scouts do not perform financial modeling, underwriting, or capital raising.

Eligible Investment Areas

Based on approval and background, Investment Research Scouts may surface opportunities across:

• Commercial real estate (multifamily, industrial, retail, mixed-use)

• Private equity, growth equity, and control investments

• Operating businesses and special situations

• Structured, distressed, or opportunistic investments

Approval is granted by asset class and strategy based on demonstrated access, credibility, and research quality.

Compensation & Economics

• Investment Research Scouts earn success-based compensation only

• Typical earnings range from $1,000 to $10,000+ per closed transaction

• Performance bonuses may apply for repeat quality or strategic value

• Compensation is paid upon successful transaction close and fee collection

• Economics vary by deal size, structure, and Scout contribution

• No caps on earnings for consistently high-quality research and deal flow

How Investment Research Scouts Get Activated

1. Submit an Investment Research Scout application and background details

2. Complete verification and category-specific approval

3. Get activated within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin submitting researched opportunities through curated channels

There is no cold pitching to funds and no blind outreach.
Approved opportunities are introduced through platform-driven, high-signal processes.

• Provide investment advice

• Solicit securities

• Market investments to the general public

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All activity is limited to research, opportunity identification, and relationship facilitation and must comply with applicable securities laws.
