About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a full-service private capital ecosystem where investors access verified diligence talent. We support fund managers, institutional investors, sponsors, and operators across private markets by integrating deal flow, investment diligence analytics, investor relations support, training, and placement into a single platform.

Our mission is to deliver credibility, rigor, and immediate earning potential for serious private capital professionals. Once verified, analysts gain instant access to live diligence engagements tied to real investment decisions—no waiting periods, no simulated work.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Investment Due Diligence Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification, verification, and approval process.

Once approved, Investment Due Diligence Analysts:

  • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  • Support investors, fund managers, and sponsors during pre-investment diligence

  • Perform analytical, financial, and operational diligence on live transactions

  • Identify risks, red flags, and value drivers prior to capital deployment

  • Build a verified diligence track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Investment Due Diligence Analyst · Lead Investment Due Diligence Analyst · Investment Due Diligence Analyst / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges

Lead Investment Due Diligence Analyst

Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in financial, commercial, or operational due diligence.

Investment Due Diligence Analyst / Associate

Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and experience supporting diligence or transaction analysis.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Investment Due Diligence Analysts may be engaged for:

Financial & Earnings Diligence

  • Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis

  • Revenue, margin, and cash flow sustainability assessment

  • Working capital and normalization analysis

  • Historical financial performance review

Commercial & Operational Diligence

  • Market sizing and competitive landscape analysis

  • Customer, supplier, and concentration risk assessment

  • Operational scalability and cost structure review

  • Management performance and KPI analysis

Risk Assessment & Investment Support

  • Identification of key investment risks and red flags

  • Downside scenario and stress testing

  • Diligence findings summaries and risk matrices

  • Investment memo, IC, and diligence report support

Supporting Financial Analysis (as Approved)

  • Targeted financial modeling to validate diligence findings

  • Sensitivity and scenario analysis

  • Data room review and issue tracking

Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment results and demonstrated diligence quality—not tenure.

How Analysts Start Earning

  1. Complete the Investment Due Diligence Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

  2. Receive category-specific approvals (Due Diligence, Risk Analysis, Financial Review)

  3. Get verified on the platform

  4. Begin earning immediately through hourly diligence engagements on live deals

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively staffed onto diligence workstreams.

  • Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

  • Complete Initio Sphere Financial or Due Diligence Training

  • Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Investment Due Diligence Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

  • Visibility to investors and diligence leads

  • Approved diligence work categories

  • Recommended hourly rates

  • Eligibility for higher-complexity diligence engagements

Compensation & Deal Terms

  • Analysts are independent contractors, not employees

  • Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

  • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

  • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

  • Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

  • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, rigor, or compliance issues
