Our mission is to deliver credibility, rigor, and immediate earning potential for serious private capital professionals. Once verified, analysts gain instant access to live diligence engagements tied to real investment decisions—no waiting periods, no simulated work.
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Investment Due Diligence Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification, verification, and approval process.
Once approved, Investment Due Diligence Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Support investors, fund managers, and sponsors during pre-investment diligence
Perform analytical, financial, and operational diligence on live transactions
Identify risks, red flags, and value drivers prior to capital deployment
Build a verified diligence track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Investment Due Diligence Analyst · Lead Investment Due Diligence Analyst · Investment Due Diligence Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, Big Four diligence, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of hands-on diligence experience.
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in financial, commercial, or operational due diligence.
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and experience supporting diligence or transaction analysis.
Depending on certification approvals, Investment Due Diligence Analysts may be engaged for:
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
Revenue, margin, and cash flow sustainability assessment
Working capital and normalization analysis
Historical financial performance review
Market sizing and competitive landscape analysis
Customer, supplier, and concentration risk assessment
Operational scalability and cost structure review
Management performance and KPI analysis
Identification of key investment risks and red flags
Downside scenario and stress testing
Diligence findings summaries and risk matrices
Investment memo, IC, and diligence report support
Targeted financial modeling to validate diligence findings
Sensitivity and scenario analysis
Data room review and issue tracking
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment results and demonstrated diligence quality—not tenure.
Complete the Investment Due Diligence Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Due Diligence, Risk Analysis, Financial Review)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly diligence engagements on live deals
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively staffed onto diligence workstreams.
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial or Due Diligence Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each Investment Due Diligence Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Visibility to investors and diligence leads
Approved diligence work categories
Recommended hourly rates
Eligibility for higher-complexity diligence engagements
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, rigor, or compliance issues
Investment Due Diligence Analysts do not:
Provide investment advice
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
All work is strictly limited to analytical, diligence, and financial support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
