Investment Accounting / Business Analyst

We are currently seeking candidates for an Investment Accounting/Business Analyst at a global asset management co. with a location in West Palm Beach, FL, 33401. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in investment/accounting operations and application support (SQL).

Yearly compensation: Between $95k-$105k + 10% performance bonus.

Starts: July 7th,  2026.

This is a hybrid Investment Operations / Application Support position.

Responsibilities
The GPS Help team serves as the primary support resource for the firm’s portfolio accounting system (GPS). The team supports investment operations, portfolio accounting, trading, settlements, and data management teams by resolving system issues, maintaining security master data, supporting end-of-day processing, and acting as the bridge between business users and technology.

This role is highly visible and requires someone who enjoys solving problems, investigating issues, and supporting business users.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support a proprietary portfolio accounting platform (GPS)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot security master data
  • Perform security setup and maintenance using Bloomberg
  • Support end-of-day trade processing between GPS and Charles River
  • Investigate trade exceptions and data integrity issues
  • Query and update data using SQL
  • Troubleshoot user-reported issues and coordinate resolution
  • Partner with Portfolio Accounting, Operations, Settlements, Trading, and Technology teams
  • Support reporting, corporate actions, and operational workflows

Required Experience
  • 3+ years of Investment Management, Asset Management, Fund Administration, Custody, or Financial Services experience
  • Fixed Income knowledge
  • Bloomberg experience
  • Basic to intermediate SQL

    • Updates
    • Inserts
    • Deletes
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
