The Prince George’s County Office of Human Rights is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill an Investigation Division Manager, (Administrative Specialist II) grade G31 position, in the Investigations/Administration Division.
About the Position
This is management-level professional work whereby the incumbents perform a variety of complex assignments under the direction of the Executive Director. The incumbent will provide key management- level, administrative and technical support to staff while managing, monitoring, and reviewing the investigation of cases conducted by the investigative staff. The incumbent may perform/assist in other tasks, including the development of the Agency’s budget proposal and the approval of other financial transactions under the direction of the Executive Director. The incumbent will have contact with external and internal stakeholders, for example, when addressing concerns related to the investigative staff, participate in outreach events to inform the public of the Agency’s functions and objectives, and during the budget formulation process. The incumbent will have working knowledge of local and federal anti-discrimination statutes (Division 12, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, etc.).
