Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support daily inventory and administrative operations within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong bookkeeping thought process, accuracy, and organization to ensure inventory records align with physical stock and system data. The ideal candidate is methodical, reliable, and comfortable working with numbers, documentation, and inventory tracking systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular counts, reconciliations, and system updates
- Track incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy
- Enter inventory data into internal systems with a high level of detail and precision
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and records
- Support cycle counts, audits, and reporting requirements
- Organize inventory documentation and maintain clear records for traceability
- Communicate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to support material flow
- Follow inventory control procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- Prior experience in inventory, clerical, accounting support, or warehouse administration preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a bookkeeping-style approach to tracking and reconciliation
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and inventory systems
- Proficient in basic computer applications (Excel, Outlook, inventory software)
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong accountability
