Inventory & Purchasing Supervisor

Essential Functions

• Lead team to receive and record new stock.
• Train, motivate, assign duties, and review team performance.
• Ensures stock is available on time and that there are no obsolete parts on shelves.
• Ensure the proper fulfillment of the kitting process.
• Supervise purchasing clerks and ensure on time purchasing of materials needed for production.
• Provide reports to management as needed.

Required & Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

• 5+ years' experience in logistics and preferably contract manufacturing
• Experience in a supervisory role
• Good computer skills
• Past ERP usage is a plus

Work Environment/Physical & Mental Requirements

• This job operates in a manufacturing assembly environment.
• Acute attention to detail is required.
• Requires frequent communication of part information with team members and other members of production.
• Requires lifting parts, tools, and boxes weighing up to 30lbs.
