Position Summary
The Inventory Optimization Manager is responsible for developing, evaluating, and implementing strategies that improve inventory performance across the enterprise.
This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Store Operations, Category Management, Finance, Technology, and external partners to balance product availability, sales growth, margin, inventory investment, and operational efficiency.
In this highly visible role, the Manager will lead analytical efforts and cross-functional programs supporting key strategic initiatives including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), On Shelf Availability (OSA), Next Generation Planning Solutions (NGPS), Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP), inventory productivity programs, and other enterprise transformation efforts.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills, business acumen, project leadership, and communication capabilities to identify opportunities, build business cases, influence stakeholders, support testing and operational readiness, and drive execution of initiatives that improve inventory performance and customer experience across the CVS Health network.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
