About the Role
Carports Anywhere is seeking a dedicated Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our inventory processes for carport material production. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring accurate records, and coordinating with production teams to maintain smooth operations. This is an on-site role, essential for ensuring timely and efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production demands.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, receipts, and shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to forecast material needs.
- Optimize storage space and implement efficient inventory management systems.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Train and supervise inventory staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or similar role in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Forklift certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
Schedule
This is a full-time, on-site position. Regular hours with occasional flexibility based on production needs.
