Inventory Management / Receiving Clerk
Job Location: Sonoma, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $24-$26/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm
Description of Company:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Management / Receiving Clerk to support warehouse and inventory operations. This role is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are properly tracked and stored. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience and a strong focus on accuracy and organization.
We are looking for someone with inventory management experience, exceptional attention to detail, problem solving, and strong organizational skills. The ability to work alone as well as with a team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Accurately record inventory in internal systems or spreadsheets
- Organize and store materials in designated locations
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping as needed
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving and storage area

Experience Required:
- Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, or receiving roles required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking
- Familiarity with any CRM or ERP systems
- Comfortable using computers and basic systems (Microsoft Excel or inventory software)
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
