Kforce has a client that is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Clerk in Chesterfield, MO. Summary: The Inventory & Logistics Clerk is responsible for supporting the daily management of spinal implant and surgical instrument inventory. This role helps ensure products are accurately ordered, received, tracked, organized, shipped, and returned to meet the needs of surgeons, hospitals, and sales representatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in an office space environment where accuracy and responsiveness are critical. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming spinal implants, biologics and surgical instruments
  • Accurately enter inventory transactions into inventory management systems
  • Assist with physical inventory counts
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies, or expired products
  • Maintain proper storage and organization of implants and instrumentation
  • Assist with consigned & loaned inventory management at hospitals and surgery centers
Logistics & Distribution:
  • Pick, pack, and prepare inventory for shipment to hospitals, surgery centers, and sales representatives
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities using approved carriers
  • Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery for scheduled surgical procedures
  • Process returns from surgeries and verify all inventory is accounted for
  • Assist with emergency case requests and same-day shipments when needed
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
Compliance & Quality:
  • Follow company policies regarding medical device handling and traceability
  • Support regulatory compliance requirements
  • Report all product defects and complaints to manufactures

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move inventory up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
  • Associates degree or experience in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, medical device, or healthcare experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
