Inventory Cycle Count Specialist - Materials Management Position Summary:Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8am-5pm100% on-site (Madison, WI)Catalent, Inc. is a leading global Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). Located in Madison, WI, this facility features advanced mammalian cell line engineering and biomanufacturing capabilities using single-use systems to support scalable production. This 263,000 sq. ft. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility offers integrated formulation and analytical services to address complex development challenges in Biologics.Catalent Pharma Solutions in Madison, WI is hiring a Inventory Cycle Count Specialist - Materials Management. The Materials Management department is responsible for warehouse management, inventory control, work order management, incoming receipts, and domestic and international shipments of all items for Madison. This department follows approved materials SOPs for the Madison site. The Materials Management Team supports other departments in all materials needs, including staging materials for manufacturing. The Specialist I - Materials Management position will support each of these department functions as a key member.The Role:Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory control including the scheduling and review of the cycle count and physical inventory programs.Work in and communicate with both office and plant environments equally well.Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock including identifying, investigating, and correcting inventory discrepancies.Identify and improve internal processes to drive reduction in inventory discrepancies.Recognize deviations from standard procedure.Assist with root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies.Develop and/or support the development of departmental SOPs.Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System.Assist is material receiving as neededOther duties as assignedThe Candidate:High school diploma or equivalent required1 - 2+ years of relevant work experience preferredPrior computerized inventory management system/MRP experience preferredPrior experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) preferredPrior cGMP experience preferredPrior Microsoft Excel and Word experience preferredPhysical requirements: Individual must be able to see, hear, read, and write clear English. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
