Job SummaryThe Inventory Coordinator I is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of materials to production lines within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This role supports both cleanroom and warehouse operations, with a strong focus on SAP-driven inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities- Kit production orders in a cleanroom environment by accurately counting and documenting components against work orders
- Perform material movements both physically and within the SAP ERP system
- Execute Goods Receipts and inventory transactions in SAP
- Assign materials to production orders and ensure timely line support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks
- Follow company procedures, work instructions, and GMP guidelines
- Support investigations, documentation, and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal) across teams
- Handle chemicals safely with proper training and PPE (as required)
- Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications- Experience in a cleanroom environment, preferably in medical device manufacturing (highly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (material transfers, kitting, goods receipts) required
- Experience assigning materials to production orders (beyond basic picking)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; Windchill experience is a plus
- Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory control processes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow regulated procedures
Work Environment & Requirements- Majority of work (65 75%) performed in a cleanroom environment
- Remaining time spent in warehouse operations and material handling
- Required PPE in cleanroom: gown, hairnet, gloves, shoe covers, safety glasses (mask optional)
- Safety shoes required for warehouse tasks
- Ability to work overtime as needed
