Inventory Coordinator
Are you someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and keeping production moving? We're partnering with a growing manufacturer looking for an Inventory Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting production, purchasing, and shipping operations. This is a hands-on opportunity where you'll have real ownership of the inventory process while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate materials for production by picking, staging, and organizing parts for assembly jobs.
- Set up job bins and transport materials throughout the production floor using a pallet jack (forklift experience is a plus).
- Track inventory, maintain accurate records, perform cycle counts, and replenish stock.
- Ensure customer-supplied and purchased components are properly labeled and accounted for.
- Work closely with purchasing, production, shipping, and customer service to prevent material shortages and keep projects on schedule.
- Participate in weekly production meetings and help identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of inventory, stockroom, material handling, or manufacturing experience in a hands-on production environment.
- Experience working with work orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assembly or manufacturing job orders.
- Comfortable operating a pallet jack and regularly lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ERP systems.
- A proactive, self-motivated professional who can prioritize work independently, communicate across departments, and solve problems without constant direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience.
- Experience with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock replenishment.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Monday.com, or other ERP/production planning systems.
- Experience supporting project-based manufacturing or customer-supplied inventory.
