The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
What Inventory Mgmt. contributes to Cardinal Health
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
Qualifications
1 to 2 years previous experience in quality control or inventory management preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
Execute quality checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy, proper labeling, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
Comfortable working at heights ranging from 20-30 feet while following all safety protocols.
Prior experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) or other material handling equipment preferred.
Familiarity with RF scanners and/or voice-directed picking systems highly preferred.
Flexibility to work overtime, including on short notice, to meet operational demands.
