We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that works closely with production, shipping, and team leads to resolve inventory issues and keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do (A Day in the Life)
In this role, no two days are the same. You will spend your time actively supporting the shop floor and problem-solving in real time:
• Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies across departments
• Act as the go-to resource when teams cannot locate parts or materials
• Support manufacturing, shipping, and team leads with inventory-related needs
• Review purchase orders and investigate discrepancies
• Conduct cycle counts (September–May) and analyze data trends to improve accuracy
• Monitor inventory locations, accuracy, and movement across facilities
• Assist with new product releases, engineering changes (ECOs), and inventory transitions
• Help identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory
• Support interplant transfers and inventory flow between locations
• Maintain reporting and tracking (including cycle count metrics and inventory performance)

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, stockroom operations, or related field preferred
Location: Middleton, WI (with occasional time in Mazomanie)
Schedule: Flexible start between 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM | Monday–Thursday (8.5 hours) + Friday (6 hours)
