Inventory Control Specialist

+$2.00/hr forweekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist. This role will split time between the warehouse and Foothills hospital. They will start their day at the warehouse stocking/picking orders and will then transition to the hospital mid-day to stock units.

Qualifications
•High school graduate or equivalent preferred
•Current Colorado driver's license required
•Computer experience—minimum one year preferred
•Material Management within a healthcare organization including inventory control, purchasing and knowledge of supplies utilized in surgery preferred
Responsibilities
•Orders and maintains reasonable levels of specified inventory supplies within the parameters set by the department management team.
•Is responsible for managing and maintaining supply areas in patient-care areas. This includes but is not limited to correct labeling of supplies, maintaining appropriate par levels, removing overstocked supplies, restocking misplaced supplies, coordinating supply location changes with nursing staff and keeping all up to date on a daily basis.
•Maintains current purchasing inventory and receiving records in Supply Chain ERP system.
•Maintains special orders to be ordered in conjunction with inventory supplies to minimize the number of purchase orders.
•Where applicable, maintains database for patient chargeable supplies to insure proper labeling and pricing. Labels said supplies with labels.
•Acts as a member of the Supply Chain team in supplying the hospital with supplies needed for the hospital to provide excellent care for their patients.
•Completes inventory of storeroom supplies in patient care areas on daily basis in conjunction with other members of the Supply Chain team.
•Rotates dated stock in all storeroom and patient care supply areas and checks for outdated supplies in accordance with schedule set by management.
•Communicates stock deficiencies and inventory adjustments to management with either written or verbal communication.
•Maintains all supply stocking locations, storerooms, and dock in a neat and orderly condition. Removing excess cardboard, utilizing bins, and stocking supplies in the appropriate locations. Removal of trash, cardboard, and correct handling of recycled products is included.
