Outbound Problem Solver – Inventory Control
The Outbound Problem Solver is responsible for investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies identified during picking, packing, and shipping processes. This role reviews overages, shortages, damages, and workflow issues using internal systems such as WMS, ERP data, and quality control logs. The Problem Solver documents errors accurately, assigns responsibility, and determines appropriate resolution paths including inventory adjustments, rework, redirection, or disposal. The position works closely with Inventory Control, Outbound, and Customer Service teams to correct inaccuracies, communicate discrepancies, and support customer pickup orders. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed error logs, identifying recurring trends, assisting with repackaging salvageable items, and ensuring proper labeling and storage of QC hold or damaged products. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while following safety and performance standards.
