Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Purpose:

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the integrity of inventory levels through regular cycle counts, physical inventory as well as daily transaction completion per company procedure.

Nature of Duties:

  • Responsible for the cycle count program including setting up daily, weekly and quarterly cycle count activity
  • Runs daily inventory transaction reports and reviews for accuracy. Makes corrections as necessary.
  • Researches and resolves inventory discrepancies
  • Conducts searches to locate products within the system
  • Submits daily miscellaneous adjustment reports to Finance and Plant Management for approval.
  • Confirms that inventory handling and transaction procedures are followed
  • Publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics.
  • Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them)
  • Assist also in Picking Orders for DOF.
  • Responsible for creating Kitting Jobs in Oracle, printing the pick list and including picking the kit materials to production.
  • Assist in receiving and put away process for new material and packaging.
  • Assist in transfers to and from the production area.
  • Customer Service focus with the ability to build and maintain strong working and vendor relationships
  • Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
  • Organized thought process with high attention to detail with ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines
  • Serves as key inventory contact for audits and Performance Excellence program
  • Works with moderate supervision
  • Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution as necessary
  • Assists with various projects and other duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 6 years experience in data entry or inventory management
  • Excellent computer skills a must
  • Experience in Excel/Google Sheets to download reports from Oracle to analyze data.
  • Experience in Stand up(Reach Truck) and Sit down forklifts.
  • Oracle or equivalent ERP experience is required
  • Stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
