The Inventory Control Administrator will maintain the organizations inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. Their main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking, and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor all inbound & outbound shipments and update appropriate tracking mechanisms and create shipping labels as needed
Maintaining proper levels of Inventory and equipment
Process physical and systematic receiving of stock and direct expense materials
Maintain workflow and related Job queues in a timely fashion
Pull and stage parts from work orders for Technician Team
Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
Perform inventory cycle counts and execute part transfer requests between locations
Perform various administrative support duties as needed
Report all accidents, mishaps and/or customer complaints immediately
Work cooperatively with multiple departments
Promote & foster a safety conscious culture in all aspects of the shop operation
Report unsafe working conditions and behavior
Communicate requests of materials to ensure the smooth operations of each facility
Process all physical and systematic workflows according to established SOP’s & communicate areas for improvement
Education/Qualification:
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, and related experience
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Regular and Timely Attendance
Must be able to stand and /or sit for long periods of time (up to 4 hours) without a break
Position requires bending, twisting, stooping, climbing
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently (Team lift more occasionally)
May be exposed to temperature changes, heights, small spaces including confined spaces
Ability to distinguish colors and use hands for repetitive fine manipulation frequently
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus
Must pass initial and random substance abuse test
Pay Rate:
$22 to $25 hourly based on experience.
