Position Overview:The Inventory Control Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory. This role is responsible for a combination of equipment operations (30-90% depending on production peak times) but will also require material handling and loading/unloading duties.
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.
Key Accountabilities:
Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
Tracking incoming and outgoing stock, reconciling discrepancies, adjusting stock counts
Maintain accurate inventory records
Organize and store items in the DC
Follow OSHA safety regulations, housekeeping, quality and productivity standards
Provide updates to the DC leadership team
Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
