Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate warehouse inventory balances and supporting daily inventory operations. This role ensures inventory transactions are processed accurately and on time while helping maintain optimal service levels and stock availability.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory records and stock balances
- Process daily inventory transactions accurately and timely
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and resolve inventory issues
- Conduct and support physical inventory counts
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate issues impacting customer service
- Perform inventory counting and auditing activities (up to 300 counts per day)
- Use inventory systems and scanners to track and update inventory
- Operate warehouse equipment as required
- Complete additional warehouse tasks as assigned
Required Skills:
- Experience operating a Crown Order Picker
- Ability to use RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Excel
- Strong numerical and counting skills
- Ability to learn products and processes quickly
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
- 0 3 years of warehouse, inventory control, or related experience
- Experience reconciling warehouse inventory systems
- Experience operating a Raymond Stand-Up forklift
Tools/Environment:
- Warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled
- Temperature varies based on outdoor conditions
- Equipment used: Crown Order Picker, Raymond Stand-Up forklift, RF Scanner
- Required PPE: Steel toe shoes on Day 1
