Inventory Control Clerk

What is my day-to-day like?

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records while supporting raw material receiving and ensuring compliance with company procedures and quality standards. Your day will focus on verifying inventory transactions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting traceability and audit readiness within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

The typical day-to-day of this position will include, but is not limited to:

  • Performing daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, and variances
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records within SAP or related systems
  • Supporting physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities
  • Receiving and verifying incoming raw materials against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Inspecting materials for proper labeling, lot coding, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinating with warehouse, production, and quality teams to resolve material issues
  • Assisting with troubleshooting inventory or system-related discrepancies
  • Supporting data accuracy through routine audits and verification activities
  • Reviewing production activity to ensure inventory usage aligns with reporting
  • Performing period-end inventory adjustments and supporting month-end close processes
  • Maintaining compliance with BRC, GMP, SOPs, and company quality standards
  • Participating in audits and supporting corrective action efforts
  • Conducting mock recalls and supporting inventory traceability processes
  • Contributing to continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and processes

You'll spend time both in systems (data entry, reconciliation, reporting) and on the floor verifying materials and inventory movements-this is a detail-focused role that requires consistency, accuracy, and strong cross-functional communication.

What will my schedule be like?

This role supports a manufacturing and warehouse operation and requires consistent on-site presence.

  • Regular time spent on the warehouse floor to support receiving, inventory verification, and cycle counts
