Inventory Clerk / Administrative Assistant
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk / Administrative Assistant to support production operations through inventory management, material tracking, and administrative coordination. This role is responsible for researching and resolving material-related issues, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve material shortages, discrepancies, and quality concerns that may impact production schedules.
  • Review inventory and production reports to identify material availability issues, inaccurate balances, and production delays.
  • Research outstanding purchase orders, requisitions, and inventory transfers to determine root causes of supply challenges.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Analyze inventory variances and discrepancies; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory adjustments, material losses, and usage trends.
  • Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to track and resolve material flow issues.
  • Support administrative functions including reporting, documentation, communication, and system updates.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized records and ensure data accuracy within inventory and production systems.
  • Generate reports and provide updates regarding inventory status and material availability.
  • Support communication between departments to facilitate issue resolution and workflow efficiency.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, document management, and coordination activities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse administration, production support, or a related administrative role preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and inventory or ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Environment

  • Combination of office and warehouse settings.
  • Regular computer use and movement throughout the facility.
  • Exposure to standard warehouse conditions, including dust, materials, and varying temperatures.
