Travels daily to stores within the region to conduct physical inventories of store merchandise using a handheld scanner. Reviews audit results with Store Manager and communicates findings to Audit Supervisor and Operations Management. Supports operational excellence through accurate efficient inventory audits. Essential Functions1. Conduct physical inventory counts using handheld devices by tag section and category2. Verify merchandise and store assets including cash lottery money orders and deposits3. Identify and pull out-of-code merchandise price discrepancies or inventory errors4. Review audit results and discrepancies with Store Management District Managers and Audit Supervisor5. Perform compliance surveys per operational and financial procedures6. Ensure safe work practices per company rules and regulations7. Communicate professionally with store personnel and audit team8. Work independently in a fast-paced environment completing multi-task assignments9.
