Job Title: Inventory Associate
Hours: B-shift, Monday -Friday, 3PM-12AM (training on A-shift for two weeks)
Location: Orlando, FL
Type: Contract / On-Site
Compensation: starts at $28 per hour

Responsibilities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects, including supporting root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts.
• Operate heavy equipment such as electronic pallet jacks, forklifts, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks, understanding safety procedures and maintenance practices.
• Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and visually inspect packages for compliance with SOPs.
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming parts and shipments, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Document receipts and work orders using inventory management tools, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.
• Manage data entry tasks, navigating inventory modules to input and retrieve information efficiently.
• Identify and apply appropriate packaging for parts, ensuring proper wrapping and storage throughout the workflow.
• Sort, stage, and move packages and crates, securing items to prevent loss.
• Label and mark parts according to SOPs, ensuring traceability and proper identification.
• Assign storage locations and perform audits to ensure proper storage and inventory accuracy.

Requirements
• 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including inventory and receiving functions.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols, including PPE use and participation in safety training.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail, quality mindset, and dedication.
• Effective communication skills in a technical environment.
• Mathematical and analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
• Proven ability to earn trust, maintain professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
• Certified forklift operation experience.
• Warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience in aerospace or automotive industries preferred.
