MAU is hiring a Bilingual Recruiting Coordinator (ESL) in Greenville, SC. As an Bilingual Recruiting Coordinator (ESL), you will recruit, screen, interview, and support bilingual English-Spanish candidates throughout the hiring process while providing translation services, onboarding support, and candidate engagement for MAU client operations. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service or a professional work environment
  • Experience working directly with the public
  • Demonstrated professionalism and strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Staffing industry experience or manufacturing HR experience
  • HR certifications or staffing certifications
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field

Essential Functions

  • Use staffing software to source, screen, and pre-qualify candidates according to client hiring requirements
  • Conduct bilingual behavioral-based interviews in English and Spanish
  • Translate interview notes, candidate documentation, and internal process documents from Spanish to English
  • Communicate job offers and coordinate candidate onboarding activities
  • Schedule and reschedule interviews, assessments, orientations, and medical appointments
  • Conduct and translate ESL candidate orientations
  • Provide in-person and telephone translation support for employee counseling, disciplinary actions, and other workplace communications
  • Welcome and assist candidates during pre-employment medical assessments
  • Assist candidates with completing required hiring and onboarding paperwork
  • Maintain ESL candidate tracking lists and future appointment schedules
  • Research prior employment history and maintain accurate applicant records
  • Administer candidate assessments and review results with recruiting staff
  • Respond to applicant inquiries and return phone calls promptly
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of client job requirements and workforce needs
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve recruiting challenges and improve hiring outcomes
  • Assist with developing candidate pools for open positions
  • Support receptionist functions, including answering phones and processing applicants when needed
  • Recruit candidates through online job boards, company websites, and marketing lead generation efforts
  • Participate in branch safety initiatives and required safety training programs
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Work primarily in a professional office environment
  • Regular use of computers, telephones, copiers, filing systems, and other office equipment
  • Occasional work at customer manufacturing and administrative facilities
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment, industrial vehicles, and production environments
  • May work in climate-controlled, non-climate-controlled, or GMP-regulated environments

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 5-15 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to climb stairs as needed
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day
