Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology or Cardiovascular Disease
- Valid Arizona medical license and DEA certification
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in interventional cardiology procedures
- Proficiency in managing STEMI cases and emergency cardiac interventions
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with staff and APPs
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in complex coronary interventions
- Bilingual capabilities
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
- Participation in clinical research or academic activities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Residency and fellowship trained in cardiology with an emphasis on interventional techniques
- Proven track record of managing emergent cardiac cases in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability for a 7x24-hour shift schedule (07:00 – 07:00), including holidays
- Ability to work in a 99-bed hospital environment
- Willingness to participate in hospital rounds, on-floor consults, and STEMI activations
- Compliance with all hospital credentialing and licensing requirements
