Required Skills
- Board Certification in Cardiology (BC or True BE)
- Valid PA Medical License; IMLC acceptance preferred
- DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances
- Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience, including proficiency in interventional procedures such as STEMI interventions
- Strong ability to perform hospital rounding and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
- Prior experience covering general cardiology calls, including weekends and holidays
- Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular procedures or patient management
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 1 year of hands-on interventional cardiology practice, with proven competency in urgent and elective procedures
Other Requirements
- Availability for 8-hour hospital rounds, 24-hour call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to support general cardiology rounding during weekends with NP assistance
- Reliable travel and licensure reimbursement when applicable
